Sibsagar the Ocean of Lord Shiva, is a town in the Sibsagar district in the state of Assam in India, about 360 kilometers (224 mi) north east of Guwahati. Apart from its history, culture, and tanks, it is also famous for its Ahom Palaces and Monuments.

Under this MoU the works included to take up renovation and maintenance of the four Ahom monuments (Rang Ghar, Kareng Ghar, (Garhgaon), Tatlatalghar (Joysagar), Group of Maidams at Cheraideo) located in Sibsagar District of Assam.

Project : Renovation and maintenance of the following four Ahom Monuments located in Sibsagar District of Assam:

• RangGhar
• Kareng Ghar (Garhgaon)
• Talatalghar (Joysagar)
• Group of Maidams (burial structures) at Cheraideo
